Role Overview
The Strategy & Business Growth Manager will provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership support to drive the turnaround, stabilisation, and long-term growth of the company. The role focuses on advisory-led execution, supporting leadership with planning, analysis, coordination, and implementation of strategic initiatives while day-to-day operational control remains with management.
This role replaces the need for external management advisory services by embedding strategic thinking, governance support, and growth execution within the organisation.


Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Business Planning
• Lead the development and refinement of corporate strategy, turnaround plans, and growth initiatives
• Translate high-level strategy into clear execution roadmaps, milestones, and KPIs
• Support leadership in prioritising opportunities and allocating resources effectively
• Track strategic initiatives and report progress, risks, and outcomes

2. Governance & Organisational Advisory
• Support the design and improvement of governance structures, management roles, and reporting lines
• Recommend organisational restructuring and process improvements where needed
• Strengthen internal controls, accountability frameworks, and decision-making processes

3. Financial Performance & Cost Management
• Analyse financial performance, cost structures, and profitability trends
• Support pricing strategy reviews and cost recovery initiatives
• Interpret management accounts and financial reports
• Provide insights to support sustainable growth and financial discipline

4. Business Development & Partnerships
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects
• Support the structuring and execution of business development initiatives
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to advance selected opportunities
• Prepare business cases, proposals, and investment briefs

5. Capital Raise & Investment Support
• Support capital raising initiatives, including preparation of pitch decks, financial models, and data rooms
• Assist with investor engagement, meetings, and follow-ups
• Coordinate internal teams during transaction processes

6. Advisory Coordination & Execution Support
• Act as a strategic sounding board to senior leadership
• Coordinate external consultants, advisors, and specialists where required
• Ensure recommendations are practical, implementable, and aligned with company objectives
Authority & Decision-Making
• The role does not independently bind the company, enter contracts, or make statutory or fiduciary decisions unless expressly authorised
• All final approvals remain with executive management and the Board


Key Requirements
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field
• MBA or professional qualification (CFA, ACCA, PMP, etc. ) is an advantage
• 5–10 years’ experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or business operations
• Proven experience supporting business growth, restructuring, or turnaround initiatives

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work closely with founders, executives, and cross-functional teams
